United Methodist Women (UMW)
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Some of their projects include filling and delivering Love Buckets to persons who are homebound in February, making and selling turkey & dressing sandwiches for the Spring garage sale days, enjoying a potluck luncheon at the Arboretum, supporting Vacation Bible School, preparing the meal for our Annual Auction in October, making school kits and a baby quilt for the Thanksgiving Ingathering, and enjoying a Christmas program and Cookie Exchange in December.
UMW meets at 7pm. (Check the church calendar for the location, as it is different each month).
